2025 WaveRunner lineup expands JetBlaster series

Yamaha has announced its 2025 WaveRunner lineup, introducing new models and enhancements to its personal watercraft range. The most significant addition is the expansion of the JetBlaster series.

The new JetBlaster lineup includes an entry-level model, a feature-rich DeLuxe version, and a performance-oriented PRO model. All three have a redesigned three-part polypropylene composite deck for improved flexibility and ergonomics. The entry-level JetBlaster comes equipped with a TR-1 engine and SMC hull, while the DeLuxe adds Yamaha’s RiDE system and reboarding step. The PRO model boasts a NanoXcel2hull, a 4.3” Connext Screen, and custom-tuned trim features.

Yamaha has also integrated new factory-installed audio systems created by Yamaha Music into several models. The FX Cruiser HO, FX Cruiser SVHO, FX SVHO, and VX Cruiser HO will feature larger speakers with integrated boxes designed to adjust volume, treble, and bass automatically based on riding speed and conditions.

The 2025 lineup sees the return of the VX DeLuxe model and introduces new colour schemes across various models. The FX Cruiser SVHO will be available in black or white, while the FX Cruiser HO combines black and bronze. The GP models receive sporty stripes and neon accents on the GP HO, with black and white options for the GP SVHO.

Fabrice Lacoume, marine director at Yahama Motor Europe N.V., says: “We’re excited to introduce the new JetBlaster series, offering riders an exceptional blend of agility, performance, and fun.

“Each model in this series, from the entry-level JetBlaster to the high-performance JetBlaster PRO, is designed to deliver a thrilling and enjoyable riding experience that only Yamaha can provide. The introduction of Yamaha Music audio systems on the FX Cruiser HO, FX Cruiser SVHO, FX SVHO and the VX Cruiser models is also particularly noteworthy, bringing together two iconic Yamaha brands to really enhance the customer experience.”

The company continues to structure its Yamaha WaveRunner range into segments, including Cruising (FX and VX models), Sport (GP and SuperJet models), and Recreation (JetBlaster series). This segmentation aims to help customers easily navigate the product range and find a model that suits their riding styles.

Earlier this year, Yamaha ran its WaveRunner You Finance campaign designed to give watersports enthusiasts the chance to get their hands on selected 2023 and 2024 models.
