A-Plan wins Insurance Broker of the Year

A-Plan Insurance has been awarded ‘Insurance Broker of the Year’ at the British Insurance Awards 2022.

The firm is one of the largest specialist insurance distribution groups in the UK, with branches specialising in commercial marine insurance for the UK marine industry.

A-Plan CEO Kelly Ogley picked up the award last week on behalf of the company, which has 104 offices and over 5,000 staff.

In a LinkedIn post to celebrate the news, A-Plan says: “We are all so proud in winning Insurance Broker of the Year at The British Insurance Awards. Kelly Ogley and team [accepted] the award on behalf of all at A-Plan Insurance.”

“We were delighted to be awarded the Broker of the year award, this is a massive testimony to our colleagues who only have one mission – excellent customer service,” says Malcolm Stewart, branch manager.

“It’s recognition of the hard work that we do day in and day out.”

A-Plan Commercial Worcester is currently working with RYA Scotland to fund the Scottish youth team’s travel and expenses for the British Keelboat league finals on the south coast. This is part of the firm’s youth development and wider involvement in the marine industry.

The 28th edition of the 2022 British Insurance Awards returned to the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday (6Jul22) for the 22nd time. Comedian Sindhu Vee was on host duties, with Trevor Nelson wrapping proceedings with a DJ set.
