Acquera Yachting expands Caribbean presence ahead of season
Superyacht agency Acquera Yachting has expanded its Caribbean operations by opening two new offices in Antigua and Anguilla ahead of the Caribbean season, bringing its regional locations to eight.
The Italian firm has been operating in the Caribbean since 2021 and has established a strong network of partnerships with local maritime operators. The expansion aims to enhance support for regional superyacht owners, captains, and charter brokers.
Diana Guidi, chief HR officer of Acquera Yachting, says: “Following recent acquisitions, the Acquera team has expanded with 40 new agents on various Caribbean islands, including approximately 23 new members, each already operating in the industry to offer excellent service to all captains in the area.
“In the meantime, the selection of new professional figures is underway to offer an even wider range of services and greater efficiency in this increasingly strategic region for the agency and the global yachting sector. In the high season, over 1,500 superyachts are anchored.”
With the increase in agents and new offices, Acquera will now provide increased access to AcqueraPro, its digital platform designed to streamline operational support for maritime professionals.
The platform has already been used in the Mediterranean market and is now being extended to Caribbean waters. The company notes that the ‘tool simplifies fleet management, optimises itinerary proposals, and improves communication and knowledge of owners and their guests’. Acquera has added over 400 Caribbean activities and experiences to the tool in the last two months.
