AcqueraPro increases network to 169 locations in Med

The AcqueraPro platform, which connects captains and charter brokers with ports and marinas, now reaches 169 locations in the Mediterranean after adding 11 new ports and marinas this season.

The platform says it offers precise information in real time for the management of port formalities and helps with planning itineraries. Within the system, captains can check rates for moorings and all the services offered at each location. It facilitates customs procedures, supports the compilation of the necessary forms and helps overcome bureaucratic obstacles of all kinds.

Ajaccio, Alghero, Bonifacio, Calvi, Santa Margherita Ligure, Santa Teresa di Gallura, Sciacca, Porto Empedocle, Porto Vecchio, Cres and Vis are the new ports and marinas that have been added in the past two months.

“The process is long and laborious, but we are proud to be able to welcome these incredible locations to our AcqueraPro platform,” says Alvise Tositti, chief strategy officer for parent Acquera. “Reaching the largest number of captains and charter brokers, as well as the highest number of ports and marinas is the goal we have set for ourselves since the birth of AcqueraPro in 2022.

“The number of users is continuously growing, although it is currently under 100. Our future plans include adding more content and expanding the platform’s locations. Collaboration with ports and marinas varies greatly depending on the relationships we have with them. We aim to strengthen these bonds to support better integration.”

In addition to technical information, details are available on accessory services such as drivers, helicopters, private planes and restaurants, with integrated booking functionality. For charter brokers, the tool is said to simplify fleet management, optimise itinerary proposals and improve communication with yacht owners and their guests.

The interface has been optimised to offer intuitive navigation and quick access to all the necessary information. Through geolocation, users can view the services available nearby according to their needs and, thanks to the network of Acquera agents present throughout the territory, assistance is always punctual and professional, says Tositti.

Late last year, Acquera Yachting established a new subsidiary, operating as Acquera Yachting Middle East, as the firm expands its operations in the Middle East region.

Acquera’s name is also recognisable as it partners with E1. The Venice based company says its data shows a doubled growth in interest in the events linked to the electric boat championship – for which it offers tailor-made packages as the official luxury concierge. It gives its customers the opportunity to follow the competition onboard a yacht, with preferred anchorages in the most strategic points.

This article was updated on 14 August 2024 to include clarification from Alvise Tositti, chief strategy officer, about the number of users currently on the platform.
