Mercury partners with Swedish aluminium boatbuilder

Mercury Marine has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with Swedish aluminium boatbuilder Anytec, under which Mercury becomes the sole engine supplier for all new boats from Anytec and its sister brand Ockelbo.

Both companies have worked together for many years, and the new arrangement formalises and expands that relationship.

Anytec describes itself as one of the leading Nordic manufacturers of aluminium boats. The partnership will see Mercury engines fitted as standard across all future Anytec and Ockelbo models. The two companies will also continue to collaborate on developing boats that combine Anytec’s hull design with Mercury’s propulsion systems.

Jonas Vedin, CEO of Anytec, says: “We are proud to take our long-standing collaboration with Mercury to the next level and establish this exclusive partnership. Mercury is a supplier that shares our values around innovation, quality, and long-term customer benefit. Together, we can offer our customers an even stronger complete solution where boat and engine work together in perfect harmony.”

Facundo Onni, president EMEA at Mercury Marine, adds: “We are delighted to continue our strong and trusted partnership with Anytec. It is a source of great pride for Mercury to be selected as the exclusive engine partner by such a prestigious and innovative boat brand.

“This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. We look forward to working together to deliver outstanding boating experiences to our customers.”
