Mark Brooke joins Aquavista as chief operating officer
Aquavista has appointed Mark Brooke as chief operating officer. He will take up the role on 27 July 2026.
Aquavista is the UK’s largest marina operator, with 33 marinas across England offering over 5,300 berths. The company provides residential and leisure moorings, boat sales, floating homes and marine services.
Mark joins Aquavista after serving as CEO of community pub operator Amber Taverns. Before that, he was managing director of the Proper Pubs division at pub operator Admiral Taverns. His experience spans operational roles across the pub, quick-service restaurant and retail sectors.
As chief operating officer, Mark will oversee the day-to-day operation of Aquavista’s regional business. His responsibilities include customer experience, safety and supporting the teams that manage the company’s sites.
Steve de Polo, chief executive officer of Aquavista, says: “I’m delighted to welcome Mark to Aquavista. We’ve built real momentum as a business, and the next phase of our growth will ask more of our operation. Mark’s experience of scaling multi-site businesses, and his focus on people and service, make him the right person to help us meet that from a position of strength.”
Mark Brooke said: “Aquavista is a business with a genuine connection to its customers and its people, and an exciting future ahead. I’m looking forward to getting out to the marinas, meeting the teams and helping the company grow while keeping that connection at its heart.”
