Arctic Steel taken on by ASAP Supplies

ASAP Supplies has introduced Dixon-Arctic Steel to its range. The new Arctic Steel range includes strainers, thru-hull fittings, and spares.

Dixon manufactures and supplies marine fluid transfer products for a wide range of applications.

ASAP lists the benefits of Artic Steel as including strainers with a fully cast one piece body, eliminating weakness inherited at welded joints and increased corrosion resistance.

Furthermore, Duplex 2205 grade stainless steel is said to be weight saving compared to materials such as bronze. ASAP recommends that boats built in steel or aluminium should use Duplex 2205 for consistency in metals.
