Axopar Boats is expanding its dealership network in the US through a partnership with OneWater Marine, a large marine retailer with 98 locations in 19 states. This expansion introduces eight new dealership locations across Florida and Alabama.

The US is a key market for Finnish boatbuilder Axopar, generating 40 per cent of the company’s turnover.

Axopar says OneWater’s locations in western and northern Florida and the Florida Keys will broaden its reach in areas with a focus on performance boating and outdoor lifestyles.

“As part of our growth strategy, Axopar is expanding its distribution network into previously underserved regions, offering more opportunities for test drives and sea trials, giving customers easier and faster access to experience our boats first-hand,” says Ari-Pekka Saarikangas, CEO of Axopar Boats. “More service centres across the country mean easier access for general service and warranty-related work.”

Axopar customers will also have access to OneWater’s financing, trade-in and after-sales services. Axopar has operated in the US for more than ten years and has developed a network of dedicated dealers.

”Axopar remains fully committed to its existing dealer network. Our partners have played a crucial role in our US journey, and we are proud of their work and excited to grow even further. This expansion strengthens our US footprint without compromising the relationships that built it,” adds Saarikangas.

Bryan Braley, president of OneWater Yacht Group, says: “We are thrilled to partner with Axopar Boats. Their commitment to innovation, sustainability, and performance aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver the best boating experience. This collaboration expands our premium product offerings and allows us to meet the diverse needs of our customers.”

Axopar is based in Finland and manufactures its boats in Poland. Its fleet ranges from 22 to 45 feet and includes two all-electric AX/E models. The company operates in over 50 countries and has sold 7,000 boats since its launch in 2014. Its turnover exceeds €190m, and it employs around 1,200 people.

The new dealership locations include Caribee Boats in Islamorada, Florida; Tom George Yacht Group in Clearwater, Florida; Walker’s Marine in Cape Coral and Naples, Florida; and Legendary Marine with four sites across Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Pensacola, Destin and Panama City in Florida.
