Azimut appoints official dealer in New Zealand
The Nautical Group now operates as Azimut Yachts’ official dealer in New Zealand
The Nautical Group has been appointed the official Azimut Yachts dealer in New Zealand, representing the Italian yacht builder across the country. The dealership will handle new yacht sales as well as after-sales, warranty, servicing and ongoing owner support.
The appointment follows The Nautical Group’s sale of two Azimut Grande 27M yachts earlier this year: one a new build from Italy, the other a pre-owned 2020 model.
The Nautical Group was founded in 2019 by Jessie Moller and James Dalzell. Moller, the group’s director, has a background spanning architecture, yacht interiors and project management. Dalzell, the company’s managing director and head broker, has more than 15 years of yachting experience and became a captain at 22. His experience includes working aboard Azimut yachts.
“We’re very excited to be representing Azimut Yachts in New Zealand and to give our clients the opportunity to experience the brand both here at home and in Italy,” says Dalzell.
The company’s team includes superyacht captains who have overseen global builds from 25 to 135m with leading shipyards. Its services also cover itinerary planning, engineering, company structuring and tax support for vessels based in Europe.
The dealership will operate from a new showroom at 197 Maunganui Road, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga. From the showroom, The Nautical Group will work with clients and Azimut in Italy during the purchase, customisation and build process.
