Azimut opens boutiques in Spain, strengthening its strategic direction

Azimut is consolidating its presence in the Spanish market, opening two Grande Boutiques, one in Palma de Mallorca and the other in Madrid. These locations will offer dedicated service to owners of the Grande Series, the line of yachts from 26 to 44 meters. The company says the Azimut Grande collection is experiencing a ‘wave of great fortune in Spain’. The recent delivery of a Grande Trideck in the Balearics and of a Grande 27M in collaboration with Marina Estrella are testaments to this success.

“The Spanish market is strategically important for us, both for the Spanish and international owners that we have been serving for over a decade with the precious support of Marina Estrella, as well as the numerous English owners established in Spain,” says Enrico Chiaussa, Azimut CCO EMEA – APAC.

He says the good fortune is the results of “the fruit of investments made over time in a competent network, quality service and state-of-the-art products. The goal is as always guaranteeing attention to the demanding local owners by assisting them in the best way possible in the various stages of the purchase and after-sales process of the Grande series.”

As for the boutiques? Those were opened “in order to shorten the distance between the yard and the end customer so that we have a focus and attention to our customers in the large range. But the opportunities that the Grande Boutique have opened extend beyond that, since we are available to welcome in our boutique’s customers and professionals. In addition to these two boutiques, we have one in Monte Carlo in the Fairmont Hotel and we are considering other possibilities in the future in the most important and popular yachting hubs around the world.”

This comes after Azimut revealed its new flagship – the Grande 44M – earlier this year. The yacht has a concept and exterior styling by Alberto Mancini and interiors by m²atelier, working with the shipyard for the first time. Five units were sold in advance of the launch.

The Grande Boutique in Puerto Portals (often described as the ‘glamour hotspot’ of Mallorca) is expected to attract a growing clientele that is increasingly interested in purchasing large yachts, in one of the regions that has become a hub for international yachting. The Madrid Boutique, strategically located in the Spanish capital, aims to ensure careful attention to the demanding local owners by assisting them in the various phases of the purchase and post-sale process of the Grande Series.

For more than ten years, the main reference for Spanish owners has been Marina Estrella, the exclusive Azimut dealer in Spain. Marina Estrella, with its deep knowledge of the local market, represents a fundamental pillar in the shipyard’s expansion strategy and consolidation in the country.

Among recent developments is a new collaboration between Bates Wharf – official dealer of Azimut Yachts in the United Kingdom – and MXG Yachts – a Spanish broker with over 37 years of experience in yacht sales, brokerage and after-sales service. This partnership, aimed at offering a service dedicated to English owners in Spain, underlines Azimut’s commitment to providing continuous assistance in one of its most relevant markets.

“We are now able to offer even more complete and dedicated support to this key market segment,” says Chiaussa. The new boutiques add to the already extensive network of Azimut’s global dealers.
