Bainbridge appoints sales director

Mike Cole Bainbridge

Bainbridge International has appointed Mike Cole as its new sales director.

Cole sits alongside existing members of the board of directors: Laurence Mead, non-executive chairman; Andrew Smith, managing director; and Gavin Lacey, commercial director.

Earlier this year, Bainbridge also appointed a new senior account manager.

Cole has worked for Bainbridge in various roles over the last 17 years, starting as a sailcloth salesman and has held many roles during that time, most recently sail and cover sales manager for distributor and export.

Cole says: “We have a great team of people and a fantastic range of products here at Bainbridge, I am delighted to be given the opportunity to help steer the company into a strong and successful future.”

Cole has been involved with all aspects of product and account management, as well as planning for the domestic and export markets.

Andrew Smith says: “It is a great pleasure to bring Mike on to the board of directors. His wealth of knowledge and experience both with Bainbridge and prior to that in the leisure marine industry gives him a solid foundation to move forward to this next chapter.”

In February 2022, Marine Industry News reported that Bainbridge had launched a new, comprehensive range of Sailman Rings, in a range of sizes from 10mm to 55mm.
