Beneteau appoints UK dealer

Barrus is now the main UK dealer for the Beneteau Flyer Range and the Antares range of outboard boats.
The Flyer range, which was recently revamped, is available in two versions: SPACEdeck and SUNdeck. Both versions feature several models ranging from 5-10 metres and are said to be ideal for people keen on water sports and day trips.
The Antares Range includes outboard power boats ranging from 5.7-11 metres long. Safe and easy to handle, the Antares range is ideal for fishing, day trips and short cruises and highly popular with a wide range of boaters.
Ben Allen, general manager of the marine division at Barrus says: “We are delighted to be commencing this exciting new partnership with Beneteau. This will enable us to provide our dealer network with a range of elegant and easy-to-handle motorboats from 5 to 11 metres powered by either Mercury or Mariner outboard options.”
Yann Masselot, general manager of Beneteau adds: “Our ambitions on the dayboating segment are quite high in the UK, and Barrus is the perfect partner to achieve our goals. We are looking forward to developing our business with them in the UK.”
Earlier this month, MIN reported that Barrus has also been appointed as the exclusive UK distributor for CMP Europe’s brands.
