Due to rising concerns regarding the omicron variant of covid-19, the German government has announced that no trade fairs are to take place in January, which includes boot Düsseldorf, according to news reports emerging from Germany.
No official statement has been made yet, but according to the Rheinische Post, Wolfram N. Diener, president & CEO at Messe Düsseldorf said:
“We cancel the trade fair with a heavy heart. We bow to health protection and see it as a civic duty.”
Recently, MIN reported that exhibitor attendance remained strong for boot Düsseldorf 2022.
