Brabus and Awake launch limited edition electric jetboard

German-based brand and luxury design house Brabus, and Swedish manufacturer of high-performance electric surfboards Awake, have announced a new joint product, the Shadow Explore Jetboard.
There are just 77 units available of the limited edition high-performance electric surfboard.
The Shadow Explore Jetboard blends Awake’s high-torque jet propulsion and extended-range XR battery with signature Brabus design quirks like carbon fibre inlays, a textured deckpad, and a rear-mounted red LED light that illuminates while riding.
Top speeds reach above and beyond 55 km/h (34+ mph), while the handheld controller’s Brabus Mode is said to boost acceleration by up to 40 per cent.
The jetboard also connects to the Awake app for real-time ride tracking and firmware updates.
According to the firms, the pioneering electric surfboard is “a collector-grade board engineered for extreme performance, timeless style, and pure adrenaline.” More details are available on the Awake’s website.
