MMA calls for 2022 Neptune Awards judges
Marine Marketers of America (MMA), an organisation for marketing professionals in the recreational marine industry, is selecting the judging panel for the 2022 Neptune Awards competition.
The contest, now in its 15th year, celebrates the achievements of marketing communications for marine marketers in North America. It is open to any company or organisation producing and publishing marine industry marketing work between January 1 and December 9, 2022.
Last year, 163 entries across 24 categories were judged by more than 88 volunteers – a panel of independent judges following established criteria.
The contest is accepting entries across 22 categories, including two new additions – dealer marketing strategy, open exclusively to dealers, and influencer collaboration/marketing. Additionally, a best-in-show “King Neptune” will be awarded to the top entry among all categories.
Each judge will be responsible for vetting one or two categories of the Neptune Awards based on set criteria.
Organisers say judges will be assigned based on areas of expertise and in accordance with any conflict of interest. Entrants to the competition are allowed to judge categories in which they are not competing. This year, categories range from video, integrated marketing campaigns, social media and more. The number of entries will vary by category.
For their participation, each judge will have access to the full creative assets submitted to their category, which is propriety and not shared with further audiences. In addition, a special digital badge will be available demonstrating the professional’s role as a Neptune Award judge.
