Canadian boatbuilder makes ‘significant’ team changes
Canada’s KingFisher Boats has made significant organisational changes aimed at fortifying its position in the market and ensuring long-term success.
Under the new organisational structure, effective 8 August, Baxter Bolton will assume the role of vice president, sales and product, and Kent Beckman will assume the role of vice president, operations and administration.
“We are confident that these organisational changes will bring about positive outcomes for our organisation,” says Brad Armstrong, president of KingFisher Boats.
By appointing Bolton as vice president, sales and product, KingFisher Boats says it’s demonstrating its commitment to providing exceptional sales support and driving product innovation.
Kent Beckman’s appointment as vice president, operations and administration highlights KingFisher Boats’ dedication to operational excellence. With his extensive knowledge in operations management, Kent will streamline internal processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall organisational performance.
KingFisher Boats designs, manufactures and distributes heavy-gauge aluminum boats – the company builds 24 models in five series: offshore, coastal, sport, multi-species and river jet for families, anglers and adventurers alike.
While change can sometimes be challenging, KingFisher Boats says it ‘is confident that these modifications will enable the company to navigate the evolving market successfully and solidify its position as a leading manufacturer in the boating industry.’
“We appreciate the ongoing support as we embark on this new chapter,” adds Armstrong. “Together, we look forward to a successful future, driven by these organisational changes that will strengthen our business.”
