Castle Marinas expands its marina network

Castle Marinas has expanded the number of marinas in its network to ten, following the acquisition of Trinity Marina, on the Ashby Canal in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

Trinity Marina was built 21 years ago by the Woodward family, and has been run by them ever since. “Sharon and her father have left an amazing legacy with Trinity, and we’re proud to carry on their good work,” says Mike Braidley, Operations Director at Castle Marinas. “Castle Marinas can bring improvements to the site and infrastructure that will give customers a better mooring experience, and we’re really looking forward to making a few positive changes.”

Located on a picturesque stretch of canal with 150 moorings, Trinity Marina appears to fit perfectly into the Castle Marina ethos of ‘big enough to cope and small enough to care’. The company’s Flexible Berthing Scheme is enhanced by the addition of its new marina, offering moorers more choice of stopovers, and a base from which to explore a beautiful, lock free part of the UK canal system.
