Cockwells’ Hardy 50DS explorer yacht will make its world debut this month at the South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show 2024. The annual show takes place between 19-21 April 2024 at MDL’s Ocean Village Marina in Southampton, on the UK south coast.

The South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show promises visitors a wide range of global power and sail brands, cutting-edge technology, and sustainable solutions.

Crafted by British boatbuilder Cockwells, the Hardy 50DS will make its global premiere at this year’s show, offering a blend of rugged practicality and contemporary design, incorporating the latest technology and luxury comforts.

“We are thrilled to unveil the Hardy 50DS at this year’s show,” says Tim Mayer, sales and marketing director at MDL Marinas. “This impressive vessel represents the epitome of maritime excellence, and we are proud to partner with Cockwells to bring it to our esteemed clientele.”

Cockwells says the Hardy 50DS is “designed for discerning yachtsmen seeking a go-anywhere cruiser with unparalleled comfort and style”.

The Category A sea-going explorer yacht has a double-berthed ensuite owner’s stateroom and two twin-berthed guest cabins, alongside a large deck saloon, cockpit and generous bathing platform.

“At Cockwells, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of marine engineering while embracing eco-friendly practices,” says Dave Cockwell, founder of Cockwells. “The South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show is the perfect platform to host the world debut of the Hardy 50DS, which aligns with our commitment to innovation in the maritime industry.”

Visitors will be able to view the Hardy 50DS up close and learn more about its features in the show’s marina.

Tickets to the South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show are free and can be booked via the MDL Marinas website. The website also offers a booking portal for appointments to view the explorer yacht and other specific boats or meet with individual exhibitors.
