CRN launches M/Y Rio

The Ferretti Group brand CRN has launched a new bespoke steel and aluminium yacht, Project C138, to be delivered as M/Y Rio. The 62m creation was designed and built by CRN in close collaboration with design and architecture studio Omega Architects, who created the exterior concept, and designers Pulina Exclusive Interiors for the styling inside.

At 11.2m in the beam, this four-deck superyacht can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in the owner’s suite and the five guest suites.

M/Y Rio is described as ‘an entirely bespoke opus with a strong artisanal stamp, an elegant yet supremely sporty vessel with flowing hull lines and a near-vertical bow’.

Like all CRN pleasure yachts, the new yacht in under construction in Ancona, Italy, at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard where core values are said to include a deep commitment to sustainability (geared to reducing the environmental impact of the production processes). Examples of this approach in action are the trigeneration and solar-power systems which have helped to cut the yard’s heat and power consumption, by 32% and 79% respectively.
