D-Marin is expanding its Italian superyacht network with the opening of Marina Livorno to larger vessels, adding another key destination in its Italian portfolio.

The move gives owners and captains access to a new superyacht facility on the Tuscan coast, while strengthening D-Marin’s connections between mainland Italy, Sardinia and the wider western Mediterranean.

Within Marina Livorno, the Mediceo Pontoon can accommodate superyachts up to 80 metres.

Located within Tuscany’s principal maritime gateway and alongside an established network of shipyards and yacht services, the marina adds a strategic stop on the western Mediterranean cruising route.

Marina Livorno is being delivered in phases. Phase I is already complete, including 150 berths for yachts up to 14 metres and more than 400 berths within the inner basin. The first delivery of the superyacht marina is scheduled for the end of 2026, with full completion planned by the end of 2027.

Facilities include 24/7 security, concierge support, retail and dining, alongside D-Marin’s digital services, including Smart Pedestals and remote monitoring through the app.

Andrea De Santis, COO, D-Marin, says: “The opening of D-Marin Livorno to superyachts marks another important step in the growth of our Italian portfolio and our wider presence across the Mediterranean. As we continue to expand our presence in key cruising destinations, our focus remains on delivering the consistent quality of service, hospitality and technology our customers expect from D-Marin.”

Sardinia expansion

D-Marin has also strengthened its presence in northern Sardinia through the addition of Marina di Olbia and Molo Brin.

Marina di Olbia offers 270 berths for vessels up to 150 metres and features a 200-metre fuel dock capable of serving up to seven yachts simultaneously.

Located minutes from Olbia Costa Smeralda International Airport and the city centre, the marina provides access to Costa Smeralda, Tavolara, the La Maddalena Archipelago and nearby Corsica.

Molo Brin is scheduled for full opening in May 2027 and has already welcomed several superyachts during summer 2026. It will accommodate yachts up to 150 metres in the heart of Olbia.

Together, Marina di Olbia and Molo Brin create a superyacht hub at one of the Mediterranean’s established yachting gateways.

Growing Mediterranean network

D-Marin’s wider portfolio includes Porto Mirabello in La Spezia, accommodating yachts up to 135 metres; Camille Rayon on the Côte d’Azur, accommodating yachts up to 75 metres; and Palma Cuarentena in Mallorca, which offers 70 berths for yachts up to 70 metres.

Together, these destinations form what D-Marin has previously described as a Mediterranean ‘Golden Triangle’, connecting the Balearic Islands, Sardinia, mainland Italy and the French Riviera.

D-Marin now operates 28 marinas across nine countries, with Italy representing its largest regional portfolio. The expansion from one Italian marina in 2023 to eight today marks a significant broadening of the group’s presence in the Mediterranean and gives its customers a more connected network of destinations.
