Dream Yacht and Navigare Yachting bolster executive team with senior industry appointments
In a management restructuring, Dream Yacht and Navigare Yachting have announced that three former executives from Fountaine Pajot and Dufour will join the group to accelerate the commercial development of the group’s yacht sales, charter management, and operational activities.
Romain Motteau joins as chief development officer, Nicolas Berenger as chief sales officer, and Romain Lucat will undertake the role of chief technical officer.
The announcement, made at the Cannes Yachting Festival, supports the group’s focus on building relationships with shipyards and providing lifecycle fleet management. Together, Dream Yacht and Navigare Yachting operate a combined global fleet of more than 800 catamarans and monohulls across more than 40 bases worldwide.
Executive roles and responsibilities
All three executives bring extensive shipyard and OEM experience across major European boatbuilders, including Fountaine Pajot, Dufour, Groupe Beneteau, and Construction Navale Bordeaux (CNB).
Romain Motteau, chief development officer: Joins following more than 20 years at Fountaine Pajot, including 12 years as deputy managing director with operational oversight extending to Dufour. Motteau will contribute to the group’s global business development and manage strategic relations with shipyards and industry partners.
Nicolas Berenger, chief sales officer: Previously sales and product director at Dufour from 2020 to 2024, Berenger takes charge of the group’s yacht sales and ownership programmes, focusing on commercial growth, broker network alignment, and owner relations.
Romain Lucat, chief technical officer: Formerly head of development at Dufour, following nearly two decades across CNB and Groupe Beneteau. Lucat will oversee technical management, fleet maintenance frameworks, and lifecycle asset management across the group’s global fleets.
“Romain Motteau, Nicolas Berenger, and Romain Lucat bring Dream Yacht and Navigare Yachting an in-depth understanding of the yachting industry, its products, networks, and key players,” says Loïc Bonnet, founder of Dream Yacht Group. “Their complementary experience is a significant asset in supporting the group’s development and further strengthening its sales and charter activities over the long term.”
The group delivers bareboat, skippered, crewed, and cabin charter options alongside charter management solutions for private owners.
