The Croatian government has extended the concession periods for marina operator ACI at 23 marinas across Croatia. The decisions, adopted at a government meeting on 5 October 2026, extend ACI’s rights to operate the marinas to dates between July and December 2058.

The extensions set new concession end dates for the 23 marinas. Most will run until either 10 November or 31 December 2058, while ACI Marina Šimuni’s concession ends on 27 July 2058.

The concession periods for ACI marinas Umag, Rovinj, Pomer, Opatija, Cres, Supetarska Draga, Jezera, Vodice, Split and Dubrovnik have been extended until 10 November 2058. Those for marinas Pula, Rab, Žut, Skradin, Trogir, Milna, Vrboska, Palmižana, Piškera, Slano and Korčula have been extended until 31 December 2058. ACI Marina Šimuni’s concession has been extended until 27 July 2058.

ACI operates a chain of marinas along the Croatian coast. In a statement, the company says the extended concession periods will support future project planning and the development of its marina network.

Croatia’s leisure marine sector remains centred on its extensive marina network, with 86 marinas and 18,850 moorings recorded along the coast in 2025; nautical port income rose 7.9 per cent to €195m during the year.
