Dunya Yachts and Hydro Tec partner on 80-metre superyacht Valiant
Custom shipyard Dunya Yachts and yacht deisgn company Hydro Tec are partnering on an 80-metre superyacht, Valiant. The Valiant design was first revealed by Hydro Tec in 2024 and will now be produced by Dunya Yachts as part of its portfolio of bespoke projects.
Taking its name from the legendary British Navy ship, Valiant pays homage to maritime heritage while embracing the contemporary yachting design. The yacht’s interiors follow a Japandi-inspired aesthetic – combining Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian warmth.

Sedat Ergün, founder & president of Dunya Yachts, says: “Sergio Cutolo [Hydro Tec’s founder] is a long-standing friend and a naval architect I have always admired. Sergio and his team are extremely talented in what they do and the success of their work speaks for itself. It is a pleasure to finally work with Hydro Tec on what is a truly stunning design.
“There are many impressive features throughout the yacht, including the abundant exterior and interior guest spaces on the lower level. These allow a deeper connection to the ocean in a heightened state of luxury. We are a custom shipyard at Dunya, so we look for projects that are unique and offer the highest standards in terms of design, innovation and performance. Valiant delivers on all of these elements, and we look forward to working with the right client for this project.”
Sergio Cutolo, founder and president of Hydro Tec, comments: “Collaborating with Dunya Yachts on Valiant is a milestone for us. I have always respected the yard’s ability to deliver yachts of exceptional quality, combining craftsmanship with vision. This partnership allows us to unite Hydro Tec’s design philosophy with Dunya’s expertise in construction, creating a yacht that embodies strength, elegance and innovation.
