Feadship’s latest 75.7-metre superyacht, known as Project 822, has been launched from drydock at the Dutch shipyard’s Van Lent facility at Kaag Island.
It is the first time the vessel, which remains shrouded in secrecy, has been seen in public since its bare hull arrived in September 2021.
This large-volume 75.7-metre superyacht features exterior design by British firm RWD, which also designed the interior in collaboration with Susan Young Interiors. Naval architecture is by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects.
After emerging from the building shed, the stylised mast will now be fitted to its top deck.
The steel-and-aluminium build has a beam of 13.6 metres and a gross tonnage of 2,220.
Feadship, which specialises in custom superyachts, says it will share more information on the vessel closer to the official launch date this year.
Project 822 is one of four Feadships set for delivery in 2023. Earlier this month, MIN reported that Feadship had launched its first vessel of the year, the 84.2m hybrid superyacht Obsidian. The shipyard says Obsidian marks another step closer to the goal of producing ‘carbon-neutral’ superyachts by 2030.
