Foresti & Suardi says its revolutionary removable shower column – Rainwash – exemplifies functionality and durability in a marine environment – as well as being a symbol of Italian design and technical excellence.
“All boats are equipped with fresh water showers. We wanted to create a functional, designer yet practical product – it’s there when you need it and disappears when you don’t,” says Cristina Fenaroli on behalf of the company. While she notes that there are other variations on the market, Fenaroli says “we wanted to create a product that can make a difference and is therefore unique.”
The idea came from within the research and development office and was officially launched in 2025.
“Despite being a new product, requests are positive,” she says.
Made entirely from mirror-polished AISI 316L stainless steel, Rainwash is designed for medium to large vessels.
Precision control and uniform water flow
It has a quick coupling system that allows for easy and rapid installation and removal, effectively meeting the spatial and practical demands on board. There’s an integrated progressive mixer, controlled by a knurled wheel, to ensure precise temperature adjustments.
The rain shower head, equipped with a thousand holes, is designed to provide a uniform water flow. It also features straightforward maintenance, thanks to the removable shower head, thereby ensuring optimal long-term performance.
Built to last, even when not in use
The robust storage case, lined internally with high-density foam, safeguards the shower when not in use, underscoring Foresti & Suardi’s commitment to detail and the preservation of both aesthetic and functional values of its products.
