E&P Marine has recently appointed Louis Diaz as vice president of sales and new business development. The company offers wholesale representation for marine manufacturers and has expanded to offer worldwide representation in recent years (it initially focused on leisure boating products for Latin America and the Caribbean).

Responsible for growing and expanding E&P Marine’s global presence, Diaz will be working closely with manufacturers of parts and accessories. He will seek to help them position their brands in a global market.

“Diaz’s vast industry experience makes him the perfect person to lead our sales and marketing team into the future,” says Miguel Vasallo, president of E&P Marine. “Louis will bring his passion for boating products and growing customer sales to the global markets for both our recreational and commercial segments.”

Diaz’s role will also involve leading the sales team by furthering existing relationships and fostering new partnerships with boatbuilders, distributors and dealers across Europe, the Middle East, Caribbean and Latin America. This will include participation at domestic and international boat shows, and global trade exhibitions throughout the calendar year.

“It’s exciting times when you can join an already formidable technical sales team and organisation and bring premier brands like Perko, Xylem, Ritchie and Vetus/Maxwell (just to name a few) to customers worldwide,” says Diaz. “I could not be happier to join the E&P Marine team and Navalex family and continue to grow worldwide sales for our vendor partners.”

Based in Miami, FL and founded in 1980, E&P Marine says it has been a leader and pioneer in sales, marketing and representation throughout Latin America and the Caribbean as well as the Middle East and European markets.
