European electric boat manufacturer expands into Canada
Magonis Boats, the Barcelona-based builder of electric boats, has entered a strategic partnership with Oasis Global covering exclusive distribution of Magonis’ Wave e-550 in Canada.
Magonis says Oasis, a North American distributor in the powersports industry, has been selected to support the increasing demand from the North American market.
François Jozic, CEO of Magonis says: “Oasis Global has an exceptional portfolio of performance brands, industry-leading experience in electric mobility, and a deep network in North America, making them the perfect partner to represent the Magonis’ 100 per cent electric Wave e-550. Together, we’re opening this new market in Canada by bringing boating back to nature.”
Oasis’ portfolio includes clean and hybrid energy branding such as Segway Powersports and Torrot off-road electric bikes and the company has more than 45 dealers across Canada.

In Canada, clean energy is a growing priority. Pushing for sustainability, the Canadian government has set targets to reach net-zero emissions by 2050 and is increasing public policies and incentives to meet this goal.
