UK-based synthetic marine decking manufacturer Flexiteek is continuing to accelerate its US growth with an expanding Florida operation, which is marking a successful first year in operation.

Flexiteek’s fully owned fabrication facility in West Palm Beach, Florida, has been operating since early 2025 as part o fthe company’s ongoing expansion in North America, and has seen rapid growth in its first 12 months, working with OEM boat builders, refit companies and private boat owners. It also supports Flexiteek’s distributor network and specialist fabricators across the US.

Based in one of the country’s busiest boating regions, the facility is located near several OEM production sites. The company says the location helps reduce response times and supports closer day-to-day coordination with customers and partners.

Adam Ramsden, group CEO, recently visited the facility and says: “The Florida operation is ideally situated in the highest concentration of boat usage in the USA, and within close range of many production sites for leading OEM builders. The US team have made a fantastic start in their first 12 months, and we have built a solid platform to support the US market with the full Flexiteek service.”

The company expects the West Palm Beach operation to play a larger role in its North American business as production and distribution activity grows in the region. Future investment is expected to focus on manufacturing capability, operational capacity and partnerships.

Flexiteek International has produced synthetic decking and marine products since 2000. Its second-generation decking product launched in 2014, followed by the third-generation Flexiteek 3 range in 2024.

Flexiteek 3 uses bio-attributed PVC instead of fossil-fuel-based PVC. The range is offered in 15 colours, including the Tritone collection, with cool white, contemporary grey and traditional black caulking options.

Wilks Marine Fendering Products, part of the Flexiteek Group, has manufactured marine fendering products in the UK for more than 50 years.

Earlier this month, Flexiteek International brought its Danish distributor, Flexiteek Denmark, directly into the group. Flexiteek Denmark joins established operations in the UK, USA, Sweden, and Poland.
