UAE-based brand Foiler has launched Ghost, a 28-metre private foiling yacht, the world’s first, at the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2025.
The project is the result of a collaboration between Foiler, Bozca Design, and ENATA. The brand explains that Ghost will be built from carbon fibre and titanium to prioritise strength, rigidity, and reduced weight, thereby optimising foiling performance.
ENATA, who will be building the yacht, has provided the proprietary foiling system – an evolution of the technology proven on the Foiler Spirit.
With foils deployed, the 8-metre beam will extend to around 20 metres. When foiling, the yacht will be capable of lifting to two metres above the water’s surface, cruising at 30-35 knots, and reaching speeds in excess of 40 knots.
According to ENATA’s CEO, Alois Vieujot, the experience delivers an unusually smooth, quiet ride even at such high speeds.
“At 40 knots, passengers can move freely, speak in hushed tones, and enjoy a completely smooth, stable ride, something unimaginable on a conventional yacht. Ghost takes this comfort and serenity to a whole new scale,” explains Vieujot.
Ghost offers more than 185 square metres of combined interior and exterior living space, including 133 square metres of interior area (excluding cabins) and 52 square metres of outdoor deck, including an aft beach club. Its layout accommodates three to five cabins.
“With Ghost, ENATA once again demonstrates its ability to push boundaries, combining aerospace engineering, cutting-edge composites, and visionary design to redefine what a private yacht can be. Both Foiler and Timur Bozca are collaborations we absolutely love,” adds Vieujot.
Aesthetically, renderings show the yacht’s futuristic yet refined profile, with flowing, sculptural lines and extensive glazing designed to maximise natural light and views. The interiors will be “warm and serene,” drawing from a contemporary minimalist design.
Timur Bozca, head of Bozca Design, explains: “Every structural and aesthetic decision is made with intention. There are no decorative elements; only forms that serve performance, reliability, and clarity. Ghost is not just a foiling yacht but a high-performance platform shaped by architecture, precision engineering, and a philosophy of purposeful design.”
As a serial-production, semi-customisable platform, the first Ghost is set to launch in 2029.
