Freedom Boat Club has expanded its French network with the opening of two new locations in Sète and Gruissan on the country’s Mediterranean coast.

The Brunswick-owned boat club says the new sites strengthen its presence in southern France and expand its European network, giving members access to more cruising destinations along the French coastline.

“France continues to be a strategic growth market for Freedom Boat Club, and we are thrilled to welcome Sète and Gruissan to our network,” says Arturo Gutiérrez, general manager, Freedom Boat Club EMEA.

“These two destinations offer unique boating experiences and reflect the strong demand we are seeing for convenient and accessible ways to enjoy time on the water.”

The boat share company has a global network of more than 450 locations across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the UAE, following earlier growth in southern France, where the company added two locations in Marseille last year.

The Sète location gives members access to both the Mediterranean Sea and the Étang de Thau lagoon. The initial fleet comprises a Quicksilver 705 Open and a Sea Ray 190 SPX, both powered by Mercury outboards.

The Gruissan location is based at one of the region’s largest marinas, which has 1,650 berths. It launches with two Quicksilver 705 Open motorboats serving the surrounding coastline.

Freedom Boat Club says both locations are now open to members.
