Garmin posts strong Q3 2025 growth in marine segment

Garmin has reported record third-quarter 2025 results, with its marine segment showing strong growth alongside continued performance across other divisions.
For the quarter ending 27 September 2025, total company revenue reached approximately $1.8bn, an increase of 12 per cent compared with the same period in 2024. Operating income was $457m, up 4 per cent year-on-year, while gross and operating margins stood at 59.1 per cent and 25.8 per cent respectively.
The marine segment achieved revenue growth of 20 per cent, reaching $267m. Gross and operating margins were 56 per cent and 19 per cent, resulting in operating income of $49m. Growth was recorded across several product categories.
During the quarter, Garmin launched the Force Current, described as the industry’s first hands-free kayak propulsion system. The Force Kraken trolling motor line was expanded to include a model with a 110in driveshaft designed for larger fishing boats. The company also introduced the Echomap Ultra 2 chartplotter, which features a 16in display and enhanced sonar and mapping capability.
Garmin was also named 2025 Manufacturer of the Year by the National Marine Electronics Association for the 11th consecutive year, receiving eight Product of Excellence awards.
Cliff Pemble, president and chief executive officer of Garmin, says, “We achieved another quarter of strong financial results with growth in both consolidated revenue and operating income, and we experienced strong double-digit revenue growth in three business segments reflecting the strength of our unique, diversified business model.
“Looking ahead, we are well-positioned for the holiday selling season with a strong lineup of innovative products.”
Beyond the marine business, the fitness segment grew by 30 per cent, driven by demand for advanced wearables, and the aviation segment reported an 18 per cent increase in revenue, supported by growth in both OEM and aftermarket categories. The outdoor segment declined by 5 per cent, while the auto OEM segment fell by 2 per cent.
For the full year 2025, Garmin has raised its revenue guidance to approximately $7.1bn and expects pro forma EPS of $8.15, based on gross and operating margins of 58.5 per cent and 25.2 per cent.
