Green Blue maps environmental facilities

The Green Blue has developed a UK Marine Environmental Facilities Directory, which was due to be launched at BOATS2020.

It’s an interactive map that shows the facilities available at each marina, boatyard and harbour and can be found online thegreenblue.org.uk.

The responsive mapping tool is a result of The Green Blue’s Environmental Marine Facilities Survey that was carried out earlier this year.

“We are so pleased to be able to share the UK Marine Environmental Facilities Directory with recreational boaters,” says Kate Fortnam, campaign manager.

“We hope that the resource will really aid boaters in making informed decisions with the facilities available. We’re looking forward to the directory growing and expanding as technology develops and more organisations install environmental facilities. We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the marine organisations that voluntarily participated in the survey and shared information about their environmental facilities with us.”
