Highfield Boats expands US dealer network

RIB builder Highfield Boats has added two new dealers to its network: Riverside Marina & Yacht Sales in Riverside, New Jersey, and Rockingham Marine in Houston, Texas.

“The 2022 sales data is in, and it proves that once again, Highfield is the number one RIB [manufacturer] in North America and still gaining more ground over our competitors,” said Christophe Lavigne, president of Highfield Boats USA in a statement.

Rockingham offers both new and brokerage boats for sale, including Manitou, Premier Pontoons and Sea Fox Boats. The firm is also an authorised dealer for Mercury, Suzuki and Yamaha Outboards.

“We serve the third largest sailing market in the United States,” said Sam Farstead, general manager of Rockingham Marine. “In looking for a line of RIB tenders to serve that community, we went with Highfield because it was a quality built RIB with better features and benefits than the other brands.”

Highfield Boats reported record results in 2023, delivering a total of 10,000 RIBS. In January 2023, Highfield Boats revealed two new electric tenders with two different partners, ZeroJet and ePropulsion, at boot Düsseldorf.

Highfield Boats USA also expanded its product line last year by adding five larger, offshore Highfield Sport Series RIBS capable of serving either as tenders or family day boats. Highfield offerings in North America now range from 6 to 30 feet.

“We have exhibited in 14 boat shows since the beginning of 2023, and the sales resulting from these shows have been even with or exceeding last year,” Lavigne says. “We are delighted to welcome two new dealer partners to our growing network and look forward to working with them to continue this trend.”
