Highfield Boats appoints managing director for Europe

Aluminium RIB manufacturer Highfield Boats has appointed Mathilde Delfour as its new managing director for its European operation.

Delfour will lead the operations of Highfield Boats in the key Europe markets with the goal of maintaining the company’s strong position in the region.

“We are pleased to welcome Mathilde Delfour to the Highfield Boats family,” says CEO Julien Carussi. “Mathilde’s broad international expertise across the global boating sector will contribute to our commitment to enhancing our brand in Europe and to working more closely with our customers.”

Delfour previously spent eight years with boatbuilder Groupe Bénéteau. She has held appointments in a number of locations between Asia, Europe and the USA.

“Highfield Boats has already proven to be a major player in the tender and RIB business despite the company’s young age of only 12 years,” says Delfour. “We have high ambitions for the European market, and I look forward to putting my experience and enthusiasm to use.”

Highfield Boats recently released the first images of its brand-new production space in Weihai, China, which increases the company’s capacity threefold with an additional 17,000 sq metres.
