Hinckley Yachts names new CEO
Gavin McClintock (Photo: Business Wire).US boatbuilder Hinckley Yachts has appointed Gavin McClintock as its new chief executive officer. McClintock previously served as chief financial officer for Safe Harbor Marinas and is the founder of the marina group Tidekeeper. He takes over leadership at Hinckley, which is based in Southwest Harbor, Maine, and was founded in 1928.
McClintock’s focus includes advancing the release of new products, expanding service offerings to additional locations, and maintaining the company’s emphasis on traditional designs.

Geoff Berger, who has served as CEO, will remain involved with the company as a member of the board of directors. During his five-year tenure, Berger led initiatives that strengthened the company’s workforce, improved processes, and upheld its quality standards.
Hinckley manufactures, services and sells luxury sail and powerboats. Currently, Hinckley operates service yards in seven locations along the east coast of the United States.
