Sunseeker appoints new sales and marketing directors
Mark Chinery, Sunseeker sales director
Sunseeker has appointed Mark Chinery as sales director, following the retirement of Sean Robertson after 40 years with the company.
Sunseeker has also appointed Mario Gornati as marketing and communications director. News of the dual appointments was announced at the recent Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Chinery has worked with Sunseeker for 30 years. During his career, he has held senior commercial and international sales roles, overseeing dealer relationships and product launches across multiple markets.
“Having been part of the Sunseeker family for 30 years, I’ve seen first-hand the dedication, craftsmanship and innovation that defines this brand,” says Chinery. “It’s a privilege to build on the incredible legacy Sean Robertson leaves behind and to lead our sales team into an exciting new era.”

Mario Gornati – Sunseeker’s new marketing and communications director – brings more than 15 years of senior leadership experience in the yachting and luxury sectors, with a background in brand development, global campaigns and market growth. He previously served as marketing director at Sanlorenzo, contributing from the brand’s inception to its public listing on the Borsa Italiana. Before that, he was chief marketing officer at the Azimut-Benetti Group.
