Integrel Solutions names US & Caribbean representative

Marine power generation and storage technology company Integrel Solutions is appointing Phil Gutowski as the its representative for the United States and Caribbean.
Gutowski, a passionate advocate for energy-efficient technology, is the founder of BoatRx, a US-based company specialising in marine electrical and HVAC system design and installation. He has served three times as a judge for the IBEX Innovation Awards and is a regular on industry panels and forums.
His previous marine industry experience spans several sectors – from working on charter and workboats to marine systems, and a unique detour into the world of software development at two top-tier US startups.
BoatRx was one of the first company’s in the US to work with Integrel’s award-winning E-Power system –a 48V energy solution that eliminates the need for a separate generator onboard.
Gutowski joins Integrel Solutions as the company continues to innovate with the recently launched Integrel E-Drive—a fully integrated hybrid system combining up to 30kW of energy generation and 40hp of electric propulsion for dual engine vessels in an automated package.
Founded in 2003, Integrel Solutions has twice been honoured with prestigious DAME Awards. In 2018, it claimed first prize in the Machinery, Propulsion, Mechanical, and Electrical Systems and Fittings category, ultimately winning the Overall DAME Design Award. In 2022, Integrel won the category again and was recognised for expanding the technology’s capabilities and introducing the E-Drive module for all-electric propulsion and a torque boost option.
At the IBEX Education Conference, Gutowski shared his expertise as a speaker, leading seminars on high-efficiency air conditioning and hybrid-powered yachts. His writing regularly appears in Sail Magazine, for whom he also acted as a judge for its Best Boats programme—honoring the Integrel-equipped Balance 442 Catamaran in 2023.
Gutowski and his wife Lisa live full-time aboard their 42ft sailboat, Electric Passage, as they cruise the Eastern Caribbean.
“My experience in boating has taught me that most owners are looking to optimise three things when they invest in their boats: comfort, fun, and performance,” he says. “A resilient power system is essential for the activities that keep us coming back to life on the water. I’m thrilled to be working with Integrel Solutions as we help bring that experience to more boaters across the US and Caribbean.”
Trevor Howard, CEO of Integrel Solutions, adds: “We’re delighted to welcome Phil to the Integrel team. His depth of experience, technical knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm for smart, sustainable cruising makes him the ideal person to represent us in the US and Caribbean. Phil and Lisa embody the very lifestyle our technology makes possible — and we know he’ll bring tremendous value to our partners and customers across the region.”
Gutowski will be supporting both end users and Integrel partners.
