The International Multihull Show returns to La Grande-Motte, France, from today (22 April 2026) until 26 April 2026, with an expanded on-water layout and updated visitor access, as well as the event’s largest fleet to date.

Organisers of the show, which has taken place at La Grande-Motte since 2011, had previously confirmed a third marina and details of a new access route for visitors this year, with changes intended to manage demand and make movement around the site easier, in the face of ongoing modernisation work at the port.

“The 2026 edition marks a new stage in the show’s evolution, with a renewed team, a redesigned visitor route and a growing presence of power and electric multihulls making their world debut,” says Anaïs David, show director of the International Multihull Show.

The main entrance has moved to the town side near the harbourmaster’s office. The mobile footbridge previously linking the show to the town has been incorporated into the event route.

Visitors can now move between the historic marina, the Quai des Douanes marina and a new marina located in front of the harbourmaster’s office.

Organisers say around 20 per cent of registered exhibitors are new participants from outside France. These include equipment manufacturers, multihull builders, architects and service companies.

The enlarged exhibitor village also includes the Multihull Design & Innovation area, which focuses on design trends and technical developments.

Several world premieres are taking place this week at the 17th edition of the show, including the Whisper 50, Simbad 55, Aventura 37 Explorer, Outremer 48, Aventura 56 MY and AY60 – Adventure Yachts.

The show is also set to host the European premiere of Aquila’s first sailing yacht, the Aquila 50 Sail, and the French debut of the Earthling E-40 Power Catamaran from New Zealand. New versions of the Leopard 52, Leopard 53PC and Moorings 5200 are also on display.

Sébastien Milcendeau of the FIN says: ”The industry may produce as many multihulls as monohulls this year.”

He points to major market trends that illustrate a significant shift in the multihull segment, with average growth of over 5 per cent over the past decade, plus the continuous rise of powercats; from a niche to 25 per cent of multihull sales nowadays.

Organisers have made a suite of recent changes to the show’s team. Anaïs David has been promoted from sales and customer relations manager to director of the International Multihull Show. Guillaume Verbrugghe will oversee M2 Organisation, the events arm of the French Marine Industries Federation (FIN), alongside Jean-Paul Chapeleau. Kelian Delubac joins in business development, while Tess Smallridge becomes international press officer.

Tickets for the five-day show are available online now.
