Italian Sea Group launches Perini Navi Fantasy and unveils new line

Perini Navi Fantasy

The Italian Sea Group has launched the Perini Navi motor yacht Fantasy, the fourth vessel in the 59m series constructed in steel and aluminium.

The yacht, designed by French architect Philippe Briand, was unveiled at a launch ceremony held at the group’s La Spezia shipyard last week. Additionally, the group has announced the development of a new Perini Navi motor yacht line to be presented later this year in Monaco.

Camper & Nicholsons’ new build division acted as technical surveyor and project manager for the Fantasy project, overseeing the construction process to align with the owner’s specifications.

The launch marked the first full reveal of the yacht’s hull and superstructure, which retain the characteristic design elements associated with Briand, founder of the Vitruvius Yachts line. Tara Bernerd & Partners designed the interior.

Fantasy has a beam of 9.8m and a gross tonnage of 800 GT across four decks. It features six guest cabins and crew accommodations for up to 11. The yacht is part of the Vitruvius Yachts fleet branded under Picchiotti, which includes the 50m M/Y Falco Moscata (formerly Exuma), the 55m M/Y Galileo G, and the 73m M/Y Nautilus (formerly Grace E).

Delivery is scheduled for May 2025, while the launch of a fifth 59m Perini Navi motor yacht is expected in the coming days.

New Perini Navi motor yacht line

The Italian Sea Group has also announced the development of a new Perini Navi motor yacht line, designed by its Centro Stile division. This series, which integrates elements of sailing yacht aesthetics with technical and stylistic advancements, will feature models ranging from 33m to 60m, including 40m and 50m versions.

“We decided to continue with the product strategy of the previous Perini Navi ownership, maintaining a vision that blends the timeless elegance of sailing with the comfort and performance of motor propulsion,” says Giovanni Costantino, founder and CEO of The Italian Sea Group. “This new motor yacht line represents a natural evolution of the brand.”

The new Perini Navi motor yacht line is scheduled to be officially presented at the Monaco Yacht Show from 24 to 27 September 2025.

Led by Italian entrepreneur Giovanni Costantino, the The Italian Sea Group operates under several brands including Admiral, Tecnomar, Perini Navi and Picchiotti. The group also operates NCA Refit, a business unit dedicated to maintenance and refit services for yachts over 60m.
