Lesley Robinson appointed CEO of British Marine

British Marine is delighted to announce that Ms Lesley Robinson has been appointed as CEO and will take up the position on 16 July 2018.

Lesley is a high calibre, proven, Chief Executive with both UK and international experience in numerous public, non-marine as well as leisure marine sectors. She is a qualified accountant, with financial, commercial and general management roles to her credit.

Her experience illustrates a track record of leading wide-ranging change programmes including start-ups, turnarounds and organic and acquisition-driven diversification.

Pragmatic and thoroughly results-focused, Lesley is used to introducing commercial standards and business best practice to different types of organisation, from as varied as a Governmental body through to private companies.

Her early career has included executive positions of Managing Director, COO and Finance Director of numerous companies as well as various Non-Exec Director roles, with an extensive range of business and commercial acumen that will be of immense value to British Marine as it is shaped to enhance the offering and ultimate value to its members.
