Manufacturing shift and product updates for Nimbus Group strategy
Falcon BRs6
Nimbus Group’s latest product launches and dealer appointment signal a clear strategic focus: strengthening its position through updated models, expanded local distribution and a more efficient manufacturing footprint. The launch of Falcon’s BRs6 and BRs7, alongside the appointment of Vääksyn Konepiste as a dealer for Aquador boats in Finland, highlights how the group is aligning product development, production and sales closer to its core markets.
Falcon updates aluminium range as production moves to Poland
Falcon, a brand within Nimbus Group AB, is introducing the BRs6 and BRs7 as updated versions of its aluminium BR6 and BR7 models. The boats retain the same size segments but feature a redesigned seating layout, including L-shaped aft benches and reworked storage compartments. The BRs6 and BRs7 will be produced in Poland, marking the first Falcon models to be manufactured at the group’s Polish facility. The existing BR6 and BR7 will continue to be sold alongside the new versions.
Nimbus Group already operates across several countries, and the Polish facility adds capacity for aluminium boat production as demand continues for versatile, mid-size recreational craft.
The Falcon range is positioned for multi-purpose use, including fishing, water sports and family boating. The combination of aluminium hulls with fibreglass components is intended to offer durability and relatively low maintenance. Falcon’s V-shaped hull design is aimed at delivering predictable handling and stability in varying conditions, a key consideration for Nordic waters.
Helsinki boat show to debut new Falcon models
The new BRs6 and BRs7 will be publicly shown at the Helsinki International Boat Show, VENE 26, running from February 6 to 15. The Falcon display will also include the BRs4, BR5, BR6, BR7 and the Falcon C7. Nimbus Group’s Aquador brand will be represented at the show by the Aquador 250 HT and 400 HT, with the Finnish premiere of the Aquador 300 HT in its outboard configuration.

Aquador strengthens Finnish presence with new dealer appointment
Alongside product updates, Nimbus Group has appointed Vääksyn Konepiste as a new dealer for Aquador boats in Finland. The appointment expands Aquador’s domestic dealer network in a market where hardtop cabin cruisers remain popular for extended seasonal use.
Aquador’s current range consists of three models: the 250 HT, 300 HT and the flagship 400 HT, the largest boat the brand has produced to date. The Aquador 400 HT has recently been named a finalist in the 2026 Motor Boat Awards in the category Best Family Cruiser – Motor Yachts up to 45ft.
Across the range, Aquador’s design focuses on enclosed yet flexible spaces suited to Nordic weather conditions. All models feature a large integrated swimming platform, an open saloon designed for social use and accommodation intended for longer trips. While the HT designation refers to hard top construction, the design differs from traditional semi-open hardtops, with the roof extending over the cockpit and saloon and large skylights providing ventilation. In poorer weather, the aft area can be enclosed with a canopy.
Vääksyn Konepiste operates as a full-service dealership, offering new and used boats as well as services including winter storage, aligning with Aquador’s positioning as a year-round boating brand.
Nimbus Group produces and markets powerboats under the brands Alukin, Aquador, EdgeWater, Falcon, Flipper, Nimbus and Paragon Yachts. The group sells through dealer networks, with its largest markets in the Nordic region, Europe and the USA.
In 2023, Nimbus Group strengthened its North American presence through the acquisition of EdgeWater Power Boats.
