Mercury Marine has signed two new five-year exclusive supply agreements with Finnish boatbuilders Axopar Boats and Saxdor Yachts.

The agreement with Axopar extends a long-running arrangement between the companies, which have worked together for more than ten years. It maintains Mercury’s role as the exclusive outboard supplier for Axopar’s fleet, as the Finnish manufacturer continues to expand its model range.

Mercury has also renewed its exclusive supply agreement with Saxdor Yachts for the next five years. The companies have worked together since Saxdor entered the market six years ago, during which time Mercury has remained its sole engine supplier. The new agreement confirms that Mercury will continue to supply its latest propulsion systems to Saxdor as the firm develops future models.

“Our partnership with Axopar is built on mutual respect and a shared dedication to innovation,” says John Buelow, Mercury Marine president. “We are proud to extend our supply agreement and look forward to fuelling Axopar’s growth in the years ahead.”

He adds: “We are [also] thrilled to extend our exclusive partnership with Saxdor. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones and delivered exceptional products to boating enthusiasts worldwide. This new five-year agreement reaffirms our shared commitment to quality, innovation and customer satisfaction.”

Mercury engines continue to feature on Axopar vessels at major international boat shows. Both brands regularly exhibit together in Europe and North America.

Axopar plans to introduce the Axopar 38 at the boot Dusseldorf Boat Show in January 2026. The model will be fitted with twin Mercury 350hp V10 outboards.

Saxdor introduced the 400GTS at the 2025 Cannes and Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which is the latest model in the 400 Series and is powered by Mercury engines.

Mercury Marine is based in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The company manufactures recreational marine propulsion engines and is part of Brunswick Corporation. Its portfolio includes Mercury outboard engines, Mercury MerCruiser sterndrive and inboard packages, Mercury propellers, Mercury inflatable boats, Mercury SmartCraft electronics, Land ‘N’ Sea marine parts distribution and Mercury and Quicksilver parts and oils.
