The annual leisure marine trade exhibition brings together more than 20,000 industry professionals. For those planning their visit, the wider schedule includes conferences and business meetings across Amsterdam before, during and after the show, alongside dealer gatherings and networking events.
The Superyacht Forum, part of Metstrade, runs from 16–17 November. This year’s theme is Accelerate the Evolution. Senior executives will discuss trends and challenges in the superyacht industry, with a focus on collaboration across its supply chain.
The Yacht Racing Forum follows on 19–20 November. The business-to-business conference covers subjects including marketing, technology, design and safety in yacht racing.
New to the schedule is the Yacht Infrastructure Summit on 18 November, which will focus on infrastructure supporting the global marina and superyacht industry. Participants will include those involved in financing, developing, designing, owning, supplying and operating facilities within the sector.
Niels Klarenbeek, director of RAI Marine Technology Events, says: “Metstrade is much more than three days on the show floor. For many companies, it is the one week each year when they can meet partners, customers, suppliers and colleagues from around the world in a single location.
“Beyond the exhibition itself, a wide variety of meetings, conferences and networking opportunities take place across Amsterdam, creating additional value for visitors. By planning ahead and spending more time in the city, visitors can unlock even greater value from their trip and be part of the broader momentum shaping the leisure marine sector.”
Joe Lynch, CEO of Icomia, adds: “Metstrade is the anchor for an exceptional week of activity across Amsterdam, bringing the international leisure marine community together at a scale that is difficult to achieve anywhere else.
“The exhibition is a compelling reason to attend in its own right, but the wider programme, from specialist forums and summits to site visits, business meetings and networking events, creates even more opportunities to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships and identify new areas for growth.
“We would encourage visitors not simply to attend the show, but to plan for the full week and extend their stay so they can take advantage of the connections, insight and commercial opportunities available throughout the city.”
