MIN and Barton Marine sponsor SIBS’ Women in Marine day

Marine Industry News and Barton Marine are among those co-sponsoring the Women in Marine day at Southampton Boat Show. This takes place on Thursday (22 Sept) with four main sessions focused on wellness, mentoring, panel discussions and networking. Registration for the event is open online.

Barton (J316 in the Ocean Hall) is also supporting the School, Careers and Apprentice Day which takes place today (20 September 2022). Barton Marine’s operations manager Dermot Bealey will be advising young people as part of the career speed networking in the Holiday Inn from 2pm to 7pm. Attendees will find out what it takes to work in research, development and production in a thriving UK marine manufacturing environment, creating high quality products to export around the world.
