“I’ve been in a good mood most of the time. I tried to enjoy every moment. I haven’t had any big technical problems, besides the first month of racing.

“I’m very happy to be here, to have closed the tour, and proud of those who believed it.

“I’m very proud, simply proud. There have been so many good times including the passage of the Horn, with a beautiful day.

“I sailed conservatively because the goal was to finish. But I’ve always been in a good mood.

“I’ve been in great shape for three months, but since crossing the line, all the tension is falling down and I’m hurting everywhere.”
