Navico partners with Aquafax for UK expansion

In a move to strengthen its presence in the UK, Navico – parent company to the Lowrance, Simrad Yachting, B&G and C-MAP brands – has appointed Aquafax as its preferred wholesaler for the UK.

Under the terms of the agreement from 1 September 2021, Aquafax will distribute Navico’s recreational brands Lowrance, B&G and C-MAP.

Navico says the ‘exciting new partnership offers a great opportunity for both parties and signals Navico’s intention to expand their business within the UK’.

Aquafax specialises in marine product distribution but until now did not offer marine electronics within its portfolio. With a network of trade branches and over 45,000 sq ft of warehouse space Aquafax’s well-established distribution network, superior technical support and high stock holding profile is due to play an important role in strengthening the Lowrance, B&G and C-MAP brands within the UK.

Aquafax is part of the larger Arleigh Group.

“This partnership represents an exciting opportunity for both Aquafax and Navico to expand within the UK,” says Andy Davies, group sales director at Arleigh Group. “Adding Lowrance, B&G and C-MAP to our already broad portfolio is key to our strategy as we look to offer complete marine solutions to our customers, covering the full marine ecosystem. Demand across the marine sector continues to surpass expectations and with our industry experience, excellent customer support and comprehensive stock holding we believe this partnership will result in great success for both parties.”
