New owner at Armada Sails

Plymouth-based Armada Sails is under new ownership.

Based in Yacht Haven Quay, the company specialises in yacht, motorboat and dinghy canvas covers and sails, as well as offering a full repair and valeting service. It is the new sails distributor for Ullman Sails (South West region). The business covers Kingsbridge and Salcombe, as well as Plymouth.

The new owner is Nathan Hanley. Previously employed at Ullman Sails, Hanley says: “The business has a strong customer base and I am bringing in my sail-making knowledge to carry on growing the business and drive it forward.”

First Peninsula Marine provided valuation and transaction support to the deal.
