New Sunreef 100 Eco sailing catamaran to make world debut at Monaco
Sunreef Yachts is set to showcase its latest sailing catamaran, the Sunreef 100 Eco, at the Monaco Yacht Show this September, where the yacht will make its world premiere.
Commissioned by a returning Sunreef owner, the 29.3-metre yacht is the first unit in Sunreef’s 100 Eco series and was launched at the shipyard’s Gdansk facilities in June. The catamaran is currently undergoing final outfitting and sea trials ahead of her show debut.
Electric propulsion and integrated solar technology
The Sunreef 100 Eco has been developed around a combination of electric propulsion, solar power and sailing efficiency. The yacht is equipped with twin 360kW electric engines and a 770kWh battery bank, while Sunreef’s solar skin system is integrated into the hulls, superstructure and bimini.
Together, these technologies are designed to minimise reliance on conventional propulsion and support longer periods of operation at sea. The sailing configuration further enhances efficiency, and the design retains the spacious living areas and comfort expected of a luxury yacht.
Designed for long-range cruising
Alongside its propulsion and energy systems, the Sunreef 100 Eco has been designed to provide substantial living space for extended time on board.
A large Ocean Lounge occupies the aft section of the yacht, creating a direct connection with the water. The space incorporates access to the yacht’s garage, dedicated storage for water toys and a dive locker, while the aft platform can be opened up to create a larger waterside area.
Monaco debut
The Sunreef 100 Eco will be presented during the Monaco Yacht Show, which takes place from 23 to 26 September 2026 at Port Hercule. Sunreef will showcase the yacht alongside the 100 Sunreef Power at its QH25 location.
Further details on the yacht’s technology, design and development are expected to be revealed by Sunreef during a press conference in Monaco.
