Next Yacht Group, the Viareggio-based shipyard that produces superyachts under the AB Yachts and Maiora brands, has reported its 2025 results, outlining what it calls a ‘record-breaking year’, including ten sales and six launches. The firm entered the Global Order Book’s top 20 for the first time, at position 15, with orders exceeding exceeding €100m.

According to the company, during 2025, the group finalised ten sales across AB Yachts and Maiora. Activity during the year also included six launches, four deliveries and the presentation of four new projects. These comprised the AB Yachts AB110s, Maiora M|30, M|38 and 42 Exuma models. Two world premieres took place on the water, with the AB95 shown at the Cannes Yachting Festival and the 36 Exuma presented at the Monaco Yacht Show.

“The past year stands out for concrete and measurable achievements, obtained in remarkably short timelines for the yachting sector, confirming the group’s solidity and the effectiveness of the growth strategy we have undertaken,” says Giorgio Mattei, deputy president of Next Yacht Group. “We have worked on a new positioning and a distinctive brand identity, initiated high-profile strategic collaborations – among which the partnership with couturier Elie Saab stands out – establishing ourselves as a benchmark in international yachting. We have succeeded in combining artisanal excellence, technological innovation, and industrial vision, laying solid foundations for future challenges.”

The company also reported developments in onboard technology during the year, with the launch of the Next AI-Integrated System. The system is described as a fully integrated AI platform installed onboard, designed to manage onboard functions without reliance on an internet connection. The Next AI-Integrated System is scheduled to be available across the shipyard’s full range starting this year.

“In recent years, Next Yacht Group has seen extraordinary growth, strengthening its international presence and revitalising the Maiora and AB Yachts brands with a clear vision,” adds Giacomo Benelli, the group’s chief sales officer.

Giorgio Mattei, vice president of Next Yacht Group, comments: “For the first time in its history, Next Yacht Group entered the world’s top 20 yacht builders in the Global Order Book, reaching 15th place with 19 units – both under construction and delivered – from September 2024 to September 2025, for a total of 635 cumulative metres, a sharp increase over the previous year. Our three-year industrial plan will allow us to grow further, with new models, strategic partnerships, and expansion of production facilities starting in 2026.”

During 2025, the AB110 was named Best Planing Yacht of the Year at the Blue Design Summit, the AB130 received Best Performance Yacht at the Cannes World Yacht Trophies, and the AB110 was awarded Best Motor Yacht in the World in the 30–40 metre category at the World Superyacht Awards.
