Nimbus Group adds third Stockholm dealership

Nimbus Group has expanded its retail presence in the Stockholm region with a new facility established at Biskopsudden on Djurgården.
The location is operated through Nimbus Stockholm, which now runs three dealer sites in the area. Existing facilities are located in Lidingö and Saltsjö-Duvnäs.
The new Djurgården site includes a larger dock that enables on-site trials. Nimbus Stockholm retails several of the group’s own brands, including Nimbus, and also sells models from Alukin and Paragon. In addition, it also offers boats from external manufacturers such as Axopar.
Nimbus Stockholm operates under the company’s Retail Sales business area, which manages the group’s dealer operations. Retail Sales owns and runs dealerships in Sweden, Norway and the United Kingdom.
Sanna Andersson, Retail Sales Director at Nimbus Group, says: “With the establishment at Biskopsudden, we get an extremely interesting position in the Stockholm area, an attractive boating district of the kind that Nimbus Group prioritises in its premium segment investments.”
In late 2024, Nimbus Group closed its Finnish production facilities due to the ongoing weak demand in the smaller end of the boating market. The firm, however, has expressed confidence amid the sales decline. The group’s order intake increased by 53 per cent in 2024 compared to the previous year, indicating that the market may have bottomed out.
Post the balance-sheet date, the Nimbus 495 received a European Powerboat of the Year Award for vessels up to 18m at the boot Düsseldorf 2025 boat show. The company also reached an agreement to sell the existing inventory of Bella and Flipper small boats, including related production materials and equipment, through a directed asset deal to Swedish Intagagruppen. A multi-year licensing agreement was also signed, allowing Cremo to acquire the Bella and Flipper brands after the period ends.
